Mr. Roshen Harmer
Manager - Credit Operation
Joined Athugala Credit as an Internal Auditor in 2022. He has experience specialising in Lending, Branch operations, Auditing, Financing & Controls, Credit Management, monitoring of branches and quality standards in maintaining the lending portfolio with more than 14 years of experience in the Financial Trading and Retail sectors.
He started his career as an Account Assistant and Senior Audit Officer at Sathindu Associates. He worked at Sewin Lak Fasion ( Pvt ) Ltd as an Internal Auditor and Account Assistant from 2011 to 2014. From 2014 to 2015 he worked for WAS Group as a Group Assistant Accountant and Administration Officer. Roshen joined Vision Fund Lanka in 2015 as a Risk & Compliance Officer and worked till 2021. He worked Sejaya Micro Credit as an Internal Audit Officer from 2021 to 2022 before he joined Athugala Credit. He achieved a postgraduate diploma in Strategic Management and Leadership.
Presently He is studying in MBA program at the University of Sunderland UK.
He is a Member of the Association of Accounting Technicians of Sri Lanka (AATSL). He completed IABF and DABF at the Institute of Bankers of Sri Lanka (IBSL) and also completed Diploma in Microfinance program at IBSL. He completed CA Level I & II at The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka. He is lecturing at Jayasekara Management Center (JMC) for AAT and CASL Management Subjects. Roshen is a product of St. Anne’s College Kurunegala.
