Mr. Prasanna is a seasoned IT professional and consultant with over three decades of expertise in the financial services industry. His illustrious career spans various domains of Information Technology, including software development, infrastructure management, IT strategic planning, governance, and cyber security. Beginning his journey as a computer programmer, he demonstrated innovative capabilities by developing software solutions across diverse business sectors. His dedication and expertise saw him rise to the position of Senior Manager IT (Head of IT), where he led a team of software professionals to deliver a cost-effective financial ERP system, significantly enhancing organizational efficiency and competitiveness. In 2009, his contributions were further recognized with a promotion to Deputy General Manager IT (Head of IT).
Currently, Mr. Prasanna serves as a consultant for both a software startup and a financial services organization, offering strategic insights and leveraging his extensive experience to drive technological innovation. Academically accomplished, he holds a Diploma in Computer Programming from IDM SL, a Higher National Diploma in IT from the Australian Computer Society (ACS), and a Professional Graduate Diploma in IT from the British Computer Society (BCS). He also earned a Master’s in Information Technology from Charles Sturt University, Australia, and has attained numerous certifications in cyber security, digitalization, software coding, and advanced database management systems.
A dedicated member of the British Computer Society (MBCS) since 2004, Mr. Prasanna has been honored with the Chartered IT Professional Membership (CITP) by the BCS, a testament to his commitment to excellence in the field. His achievements were further recognized in October 2024, when he was named one of the Top 25 IT Consultants Globally at DIGITAL CONFEX in Dubai. With his unparalleled expertise and unwavering dedication to advancing the IT profession, Mr. Prasanna continues to make a significant impact in the technology landscape.
